Abstract ◊ The article deals with an examination and analysis of the key conceptions of hypnosis, heterosuggestion, and suggestibility developed to date in Russian and foreign psychology and psychophysiology. The authors describe the theoretical and methodological approaches to the investigation into these concepts.
