Monde O.-L. Stephen Schwartz and Contemporary Musical
(The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, New York City, USA)
Abstract ◊ In this work the author analyses creative activities of Stephen Schwartz, a famous American composer, who has written six musicals, three of which are considered to be outstanding ones. The main attention is paid to the story of creation of the musical “Wicked” as well as to the analysis of its score and lyrics.
