Abstract ◊ The author considers the intertextual relation between W. Shakespeare’s tragedy “Hamlet” and B. L Pasternak’s novel “Doctor Zhivago” on the imaginative (Hamlet — Yuri Zhivago, female characters of Shakespeare’s tragedies and the novel) and on the problem and thematic levels.
