December 1, 2015. The "Znanie. Ponimanie. Umenie" (“Knowledge. Understanding. Skill”) journal was included in the List of Russian reviewed academic journals, in which the applicants for the doctoral and candidate degrees in philosophy, sociology and cultural studies should publish the main research results of their dissertations.

September 27, 2010. The journal was included in the List of Russian reviewed academic journals, in which the applicants for the doctoral and candidate degrees should publish the main research results of their dissertations (the Higher Attestation Commission’s List of journals).
March 5, 2010. The Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia accepted a revised version of the List of the leading reviewed academic journals and publications on February 19, 2010 (the decree No. 6/6).
The "Znanie. Ponimanie. Umenie" (“Knowledge. Understanding. Skill”) journal was included in the List of the leading reviewed academic journals and publications, in which the applicants for the doctoral and candidate degrees should publish the main reesearch results of their dissertations (the Higher Attestation Commission’s List of journals) in the following fields: pedagogy, psychology, philology, art criticism, philosophy, sociology, and culturology (cultural studies).
May 8, 2008. The journal was included into the Russian Science Citation Index.
May 5, 2008. The "Znanie. Ponimanie. Umenie" (“Knowledge. Understanding. Skill”) journal obtained ISSN 1998-9873 (print).
April 24, 2008. The "Znanie. Ponimanie. Umenie" (“Knowledge. Understanding. Skill”) journal was included in the Higher Attestation Commission’s List of the foremost reviewed academic journals and publications, in which the fundamental research results of doctoral and candidate’s dissertations on pedagogy, psychology, philology, art criticism, philosophy, sociology, and culturology might be published.
November 30, 2006. The "Znanie. Ponimanie. Umenie" (“Knowledge. Understanding. Skill”) journal was included in the Higher Attestation Commissionn’s List of the foremost reviewed research journals and publications, in which the fundamental research results of doctoral and candidate’s dissertations on pedagogy, psychology, philology, and art criticism might be published.
January 23, 2004. The "Znanie. Ponimanie. Umenie" (“Knowledge. Understanding. Skill”) journal of Moscow University for the Humanities was registered by the RF Ministry of Press, Broadcasting and Mass Media (registration certificate ПИ № 77-17275) as a periodical, which sheds light on results of fundamental and applied studies in the field of the humanities.
